Garden Pasta Salad
I get a lot of requests for this recipe. It is quick, easy and healthy. Perfect for picnics.
Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package uncooked wheat tri-color spiral pasta
- 1/4 cup carrots, diced
- 1/4 cup broccoli, small florets
- 1/4 cup diced red, green or orange bell pepper
- 1/4 cup cucumber, peeled and diced
- 1 large tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- 1 (16 ounce) bottle Fat Free Italian-style salad dressing
- 1/2 cup Low Fat Crumbled Feta Cheese
- 5 slices of ham or 1/2 cup cubed ham (optional)
- 1/2 Tablespoon cracked papper
- 1 clove minced garlic
Directions
- Cook pasta in large pot of boiling water until al dente. Rinse under cold water, and drain.
- If using sliced ham: roll each slice tightly into a"cigar" and cut into seversal spirals.
- Mix all vegetables, dressing and spices together in large bowl. Add ham and allow to rest until pasta is ready.
- Add cooled pasta and mix well. Add Feta cheese, mix well and chill.
- Chill for half hour before serving
