Saturday morning I tried to open my garage door and it wouldn't go up. In the past I would have walked over and lifted it manually and my husband would fix it when he came home.  One problem, it wouldn't open at all! My husband was at work and I wasn't expecting him until late at night...excellent. I am at home alone with 3 young kids and my only mode of transportation is trapped in the garage. Fortunately, I didn't have to be anywhere, but based on past experiences and my luck in general today could very easily have an ER trip in store.
Now my point, I logged on to Angies List and was able to find a reputable Garage Door company.  They where friendly and fast and I had someone here to fix it within 2 hours!!  They didnt charge me an arm and a leg either, in fact I paid only half the price of what we thought it would cost. I also was able to just log on and hit my zipcode and what I was looking for.  Thank goodness I didnt have to spend all day calling around either!  A great company with great  REAL reviews right there and no hassle.
